About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: Active state RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Travel experience required - Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced setting Description: Provide care for a wide variety of complex admission diagnoses. Manage patient care in a fast-paced environment. Handle a minimum of 10 borders, with potential for up to 40 borders daily. Assist with patient care for both medical-surgical and telemetry cases. Float as needed between emergency department and inpatient units. Participate in high-acuity care for adult and geriatric populations. Demonstrate proficiency in various procedures listed in job requirements. Ensure compliance with monitoring protocols and charting systems. Provide education and support to patients and their families. Participate in interdisciplinary team efforts to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Be flexible with scheduling, including weekend and holiday shifts as assigned. Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
