Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a Stepdown unit caring for PCU, Med Surg, Oncology, and Trauma patients. This is a mixed-acuity unit where nurses provide comprehensive patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and float to similar level-of-care units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to PCU, Med Surg, Oncology, and Trauma patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in clinical status.
• Administer medications, including occasional titratable drips such as insulin and Cardizem.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC EMR.
• Float to other PCU and Med Surg units as required.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• PCU experience required.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Charge nurse experience preferred (minimum 1 year if applicable).
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required.
• Chemotherapy certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with EPIC is preferred.
