Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) with NICU experience to join a nationally recognized Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Austin, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment and are passionate about caring for critically ill newborns.

Unit Highlights

This Level IV NICU provides care for some of the most complex neonatal patients, including:

• Therapeutic Hypothermia (HIE)

• Premature infants (VLBW/ELBW)

• Congenital Heart Defects

• Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia

• Surgical Neonates

• Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD)

• Arrhythmias

• Renal Failure

• Complex Congenital Birth Defects

Patient Population: Neonates through 1 year of age, with occasional patients older than 1 year.

Nurse-to-Patient Ratios

• 1:1

• 1:2 (ICU patients)

• 1:3 (Step-down/Non-ICU)

Assignment Details

• Long-Term Contract

Requirements

• Active RN license

• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience

• Current BLS

• Current PALS

• Current NRP

• Ability to meet all onboarding and compliance requirements
