Key Responsibilities of the RN - OR Operating Room

• Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure a safe and efficient environment
• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures including ophthalmology, orthopedics, and general surgery
• Maintain and operate surgical equipment, including Stryker and Steris systems
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures

Requirements of the RN - OR Operating Room

• Current RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1-year experience in surgery, including the case mix specified
• Experience with Cerner Surginet EMR system preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
