Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU- Post Anesthetic Care

• Monitor patients' vital signs during recovery from anesthesia
• Administer medications as required and according to orders
• Assist patients in regaining consciousness and mobility after surgery
• Educate patients and families regarding post-surgery care and medications
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records

Requirements of the RN - PACU- Post Anesthetic Care

• Valid RN license
• Experience in Post Anesthetic Care Unit (PACU)
• Current certifications relevant to nursing specialty
