Shifts: Days - 8:00AM-6:30PM (4, 10-hour rotating shifts)

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Post Anesthetic Care for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role involves delivering patient-centered care in a dynamic environment, focusing on the recovery of patients post-anesthesia.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU- Post Anesthetic Care

• Obtain and record initial assessments; establish and prioritize patient needs.
• Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends needing intervention.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans within set time frames.
• Make nursing decisions based on facts and patient outcomes; adjust care plans as needed.
• Participate in health education and discharge planning.
• Implement and document timely, appropriate interventions based on patient needs.
• Evaluate and modify care plans as required.
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures.

Requirements of the RN - PACU- Post Anesthetic Care

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications via AHA required.
