Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Cardiac Stepdown RN for a travel assignment in Ohio. This role focuses on providing specialized cardiac care in a dynamic environment, working primarily night shifts. Applicants should have a strong background in cardiac monitoring and patient care.

Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Stepdown RN

• Monitor patients' cardiovascular status using telemetry or other devices
• Assess and respond to signs of cardiac complications
• Administer and manage prescribed medications
• Provide post-surgical and post-procedural care
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and care strategies
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop care plans
• Respond to emergent situations with appropriate interventions
• Ensure infection control standards and patient safety protocols

Requirements of the Cardiac Stepdown RN

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• BLS certification required
• At least 3 years of RN experience, with 1 year in travel nursing
• Experience in cardiac care and use of cardiac monitoring equipment
