Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Room Nurse

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to various patient types
• Effectively manage trauma, cardiac, and respiratory cases
• Utilize EPIC for patient charting and care documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff
• Participate in unit orientation and ongoing training

Requirements of the Emergency Room Nurse

• Minimum of 3 years strong ED experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications
• EPIC experience required
• ENCP and TNCC certifications preferred
• De-escalation training such as MOAB or CPI preferred
