Shifts: Weekend rotation every other weekend

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN - PCU for a travel assignment in an Intermediate/Step Down Cardiac Unit in Louisville, KY. Specializing in post-operative coronary bypass grafts, valve surgery, and other cardiac conditions, this position is ideal for nurses with expertise in cardiac care and post-operative heart surgery management. You will work in a supportive departmental environment with Cerner EMR and Phillips monitors.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU

• Conduct heart monitor interpretation and manage trach care and chest tubes
• Perform PIV starts and phlebotomy
• Administer and manage drips such as Primacor, amiodarone, dobutamine, and heparin
• Care for patients pre/post coronary bypass graft, valve surgery, and other cardiac conditions

Requirements of the RN - PCU

• BLS and NIHSS certifications mandatory
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field
• ACLS certification preferred
