About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Surgery Specialty: RN Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years preferred License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience - Experience with trauma, orthopedic, and general surgery procedures Description: Working as an operating room registered nurse in a level III trauma referral center. The position involves four 10-hour shifts per week with call requirements. Weekday call is a minimum of one day per week. Weekend call is a minimum of one to two days per month, either Saturday or Sunday. There are seven operating rooms in total. Specialties include general surgery, robotic surgery, orthopedic surgery, orthopedic trauma, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, hybrid procedures, urology, ophthalmology, bariatrics, pain management, and podiatry.
