About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital telemetry experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital telemetry experience BLS & ACLS certifications Description: This is a travel RN position in a telemetry unit. The unit has 32 beds. There are typically 7-12 staff members on the unit. Staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, and 1 sitter on the night shift. Patient ratios are 4 or 5:1. The unit uses a GE telemetry system for monitoring. The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech. Typical procedures performed in the unit include IV and Foley catheter starts and chest tube removal. Candidates with experience caring for post-operative CABG patients are preferred. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, a team player, and willing to take initiative. This is a competitive position, and we encourage qualified candidates to apply.
