About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient surgery License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Previous charge experience, patient ratio experience of 1:1, experience with Community charting system preferred, travel experience preferred. Description: The Registered Nurse will work in an outpatient surgery setting. This position involves no call, no weekends, and no holidays. The facility accommodates a limited number of consecutive weekdays of requested time off. The RN will provide care to adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily patient ratios are maintained at 1:1. Skills required include experience with abdominoplasty, ambulatory OR procedures, and various surgical interventions. Candidates must ensure compliance with drug screening policies. A positive result on the drug screen will result in automatic cancellation. Clinicians must be available to complete necessary lab items within 72 hours of accepting the offer or have a plan for completion. Charting experience with Altera is preferred. Modules are non-billable and will be completed during orientation. All documentation must be submitted by the specified due date prior to the start of the position. Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
