Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour AM-PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current RN license required Certifications: - Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Basic Life Support - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - Trauma Nursing Core Course Must-Have: - Experience in Critical Care - Advanced hemodynamic monitoring - ICP Monitoring (SICU/NCCU) - Care for ventilated patients - Administration of pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications - Assistance with line insertion and maintenance - Management of lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients - Experience with ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVD - PA lines and waveform interpretation experience Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Critical Care. The position is in an 18-bed ICU caring for surgical, trauma, neuro, plastics, multiple organ failure, and sepsis patients. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in critical care nursing. Responsibilities include advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ICP monitoring. Candidates should be experienced in caring for ventilated patients and administering critical medications. Assisting with line insertion and maintenance will be part of the role. Experience with managing various lines, tubes, and drains is essential. Candidates will also be expected to handle procedures such as ventriculostomies and EVDs. Candidates must be proficient in PA lines and waveform interpretation.
