About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1900 - 0730 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience License: RN State License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Stroke Certification Must-Have: - Advanced Dysrhythmia Interpretation EKG Test - Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia Exam Description: Registered Nurses will provide high-quality patient care in the telemetry specialty. Responsibilities include monitoring patients' vital signs and recognizing abnormal findings. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. RNs will administer medications and treatments as specified in patient care plans. Nurses will participate in patient education and ensure safe discharge planning. Adherence to policies, procedures, and protocols is mandatory. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is expected. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Involvement in quality improvement initiatives is encouraged. Competency validation in telemetry-specific skills is required. The position mandates compliance with all health and safety regulations. Candidates must submit to a background check and health screenings as required by facility policies.
