About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Preferred acute care facility experience License: Required Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice Certifications: Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor Must-Have: Recent EPIC experience Description: Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues. Develop a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluate progress towards attaining outcomes. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe and caring environment. Provide learning opportunities for patients and family members. Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Commit to the safety and wellbeing of all associates and patients. Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable.
