About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: At least 2 years of ER experience required. Recent traveler experience preferred. License: Current Oklahoma State License or compact license Certifications: BLS - AHA, ACLS - AHA, PALS - AHA, TNCC (preferred), NIHSS Must-Have: - Work History - Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty - 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years Description: An ER nurse's primary responsibility is to identify medical issues, determine severity, and provide immediate support to minimize negative long-term effects. An ER nurse is one of the first responders when a patient is admitted to the emergency room. Candidates can expect outreach within two hours via phone and text where applicable. Decisions regarding applications are typically made the same day or by the next business day. Applicants seeking more than 7 days off or more than 50% of holidays off are not eligible for the same processing timeline. Candidates must have negative background or employment history clarified.
