About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid state compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: Relevant certifications required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience in high-risk labor and delivery, antepartum care, and maternal emergencies Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery. The nurse will float between units as needed. Some weekend shifts will be required. No on-call shifts are necessary. The expected patient ratios are 1:2 for labor and 1:3 for antepartum. Experience with acute care in high-risk labor and delivery is required. Nurses should be comfortable managing laboring patients, including induction and augmentation. Procedures related to pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiples will be part of the responsibilities. The role involves handling VBACs/TOLACs and managing maternal emergencies. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Communication devices will be provided if required for the assignment. References will be required covering the past year during the compliance process. Candidates should ensure flexibility regarding the contracted schedule.
