Job Title

Travel RN – Women's Services (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family
  • Circulate during C-Sections, attend deliveries assisting the physician as needed, and assess neonates post-delivery at the neonatal station
  • Follow appropriate policies during the recovery and care of surgical patients, including postpartum, antepartum, triage, and labor and delivery care
  • Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs
  • Evaluate and provide patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances; serve as an advocate for patient physical and emotional well-being

Required Qualifications

  • Active Wyoming RN license or valid compact RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, OB/GYN, and/or L&D/LDRP
  • Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN certifications (must be issued through the American Heart Association)
  • Ability to attend fetal monitoring certification classes as required (every two years)
  • Ability to float to another unit as helping hands or sitter based on facility census needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience caring for OB/GYN patients including post-op hysterectomy, antepartum, and triage cases
  • Prior travel nursing experience in a community hospital setting
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care or women's services environments
