Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Tuesday Start | 4 Weekend Shifts per Month Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients in a unit with 10 LDR rooms and 2 OB Emergency Department beds
• Maintain patient ratios of 2:1, with 1:1 or 2:1 for high-risk patients when stable
• Assist with and circulate for cesarean sections, BTLs, and salpingectomies in the OR
• Monitor fetal status using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal condition
• Document patient care accurately using CPN (Centricity) and Meditech EMR systems
• Float to postpartum or medical floor as needed (medical floor float in a tech capacity only)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
• ACLS certification (current)
• NRP certification (current)
• BLS certification (current)
• OR Circulator experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bilingual language skills
• Scrub tech skills
• C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
