Travel Registered Nurse – ICU Float Pool

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting as part of a float pool team
• Assess, monitor, and respond to critically ill patients across assigned ICU units
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, care delivered, and clinical outcomes in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to float across ICU units as assigned
• Availability to work night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care environment
• Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit ICU capacity
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care settings
