Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 33-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Perform routine med/surg procedures and assessments in accordance with unit standards
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, RNs, techs, and unit secretaries
• Fulfill patient experience requirements including completion of White Boards
• Participate in floating rotation as needed alongside other travel staff

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Basic Medical Surgical knowledge and clinical competency
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work every other weekend as part of the scheduling requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new unit environments and team dynamics
