Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Outpatient Surgery Center)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) | No Call, No Weekends, No Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient surgical setting within the operating room environment
• Assist with perioperative nursing duties including patient preparation, intraoperative support, and post-procedure monitoring
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health records system
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
• Complete required facility orientation modules during the onboarding period

Required Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room service line
• Current certifications as required and verifiable at time of submission
• Ability to complete required pre-employment lab work within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• Must be able to pass a mandatory on-site drug screen, including marijuana, upon arrival – positive results result in automatic cancellation with no exceptions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Altera electronic health records charting system
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
