Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 4 x 12-Hour Shifts per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting during night shift hours
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Monitor and document patient status, responses to treatment, and changes in condition
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of North Carolina or a compact state
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification
• Prior experience working in an Emergency Room or acute care setting
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts including weekends and holidays as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency department
• Strong critical thinking and rapid clinical decision-making skills
