Contract | Onsite | Rotating Day/Night Shifts (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit setting
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Potential to float to designated units to support the same patient population based on operational needs
• Participate in required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
• Work at least every other holiday as required by facility scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty (travel experience may be considered for recent MS/Tele experience requirement)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts permitted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of permanent experience obtained within a single facility location
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation in an acute care environment
