Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Onsite | Mid Shifts (shift options ranging from 1:00 PM to 4:30 AM start times, 12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Level 3 Trauma, STEMI, and Stroke Receiving emergency department averaging approximately 109 patients per day
  • Manage and titrate critical drips, administer procedural sedation for adult and pediatric patients, and oversee blood product administration via rapid infuser
  • Perform triage, blood draws on IV starts, and transport acute patients to adjacent radiology as needed
  • Read and interpret telemetry strips independently; monitor and troubleshoot respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, Airvo/Optiflow, and ventilators
  • Operate within designated zone-based staffing model (up to 8 rooms per zone) alongside CNAs and interdisciplinary team members
  • May be asked to float within the department to different zones to provide support as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of emergency room experience
  • Triage experience required
  • Some trauma experience required (e.g., MVAs, GSWs, stabbings)
  • Minimum of 2–3 completed travel assignments at different locations (extensions do not qualify; first-time travelers will not be considered)
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • ENPC certification preferred
  • Trauma bay experience preferred
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred; please disclose if no Epic experience
