About the Position
Job Title: Progressive Care Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating 7AM/7PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, experience with high acuity patients License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: IMC experience, vent experience, dysrhythmia management, EPIC experience Description: The unit population includes cardiac and pulmonary patients. Experience in intermediate care is required. Nurses must possess experience managing high acuity patients. Candidates should have a background in working with ventilated patients. Every other weekend and holiday availability is required. Float to other units such as PCU, IMC, and Med Surg may be necessary. Critical Care Certification and trauma course are preferred qualifications.
