Job Title: Seasonal Contract RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year in Labor and Delivery License: Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, intermediate fetal monitoring Must-Have: Candidates must possess expertise in EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. Description: This is a seasonal contract position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The position requires a commitment to rotating weekends with no call requirements. The unit accommodates a patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on the shift. Staff includes a charge nurse and co-charge nurse during both day and night shifts. Candidates must be familiar with equipment such as Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound. Typical procedures performed in this unit include spontaneous vaginal deliveries, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC. The ideal candidate is a team player and possesses a positive attitude. Dress code consists of navy blue scrubs; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts are acceptable, but T-shirts are not permitted. Candidates are encouraged to be aware of attendance policies and unit guidelines. This position offers an opportunity to work in a high-volume unit with a supportive team environment.
