Pretentious culture and overworked staff. Pretty public spaces do not make a quality hospital.

Convenient to interstate and nice weather in the winter. The staffing ratios are ridiculous to the point of being dangerous - overworked nurses trying to care for patients in a for-profit hospital. Never enough CNAs to help. Management thinks the place and culture are "upscale" (or at least think they are) and expect nurses to look like they stepped out of "Pretty Woman" while they clean up people. They fire staff if they don't meet their pretentious dress code. No time built into system to listen to patients or explain anything - just rush, rush, rush. Layout of hospital rooms and access to medications and supplies very inefficient - expect to do a lot of walking. Staff was not friendly to travel nurses or treated them as invisible. Told during orientation to not ask staff questions but to look everything up. Expected to come in one-half to one hour before shift to get report and look up patient information - but not clock in for pay until the "official" shift starts. This is illegal.
