Good place to work

Provided patient care, secretarial duties, etc. The staff was great to work with and I enjoyed working for this company.

Working with patients is rewarding

The main and most rewarding part of my job is working with the patients. The most difficult part of the job is the management's lack of understanding of what the job entails, the lack of staff and equipment necessary to do the job.

Good place to work

Starting off with 5-7 patients each morning; however, our unit had a high turnover rate. It was nothing to discharge 3-4 patients and get that many or more new admits.A new computer system, EPIC, allowed for faster documentation at the patient bedside of meds and assessments which cut down on the amount time it took to document per shift.Last 5 years were spent on the stroke unit which included using the NIHSS scale and the TOR-BSST to evaluate stroke patients.4 East is a 35 bed telemetry Med/Surg Unit which gets an varied assortment of patients including cardiac, neuro, orthopedic, and diabetics with a variety of ailments.

Nice place to work.

Very busy but they care about staff education. It is very structured and no room for mistakes. Coworkers are supportive when they can be...everyone is very busy.

I really liked working at Norton Audubon Hospital

Norton Audubon was a good place to work. I loved the Progressive Heart Unit and the physicians treated the nurses with respect for the most part.
