A good place to work for low stress

The state is great for those who like to punch in do the assigned work and go home, with very little stress. Opportunities to further your career through classes paid and offered by the State. This job does come with some frustrations that most government jobs have as far as red type, and you often find yourself doing things that may not make sense for your job but are in place to cover all jobs state wide. I do enjoy the section I work for and I am trusted to head out and take care of my job with out oversight.

Good

Fair employer and fair benefits for a small town. Management is old school, needs younger managers.

by Do NOT WORK HERE

NOT SAFE, NOT SAFE, HORRIABLE LEADERSHIP

First off, the good reviews are probably being written by the hospital Administration. If you do your research, you will see that this is unsafe, unhealthy, controlled by narcissistic incompetent leadership. You will not be trained properly to deal with this patient environment. The security officer is close friends with the CEO, so he is never held accountable for leaving shifts uncovered by security. That's right, you are on your own if something happens. Patient safety issues happen multiple times a day, not once in a while, MULTIPLE times a day. You will be asked to do things since they are so understaffed that you did not sign up for, you will handle it alone, especially if you work nights. DO no work here, and someone is going to get hurt bad. The government sits back and does nothing. You are in the middle of nowhere, and it takes a long time for help when you need it.
