Nightshift job very busy

A typical day at my job was very busy and time consuming.First thing I would do would get report from my nursing aides and registered nurses. Then I would go to my rooms one by one and introduce myself to all my patients and let them know I would be there nursing aide for the night and asked them If they needed to potty or in pain or need anythng. Then if they had drains I would empty them or urinals or hats and measure them for intake and output. I also did activity of daily living which is what we go buy when we chart for anything with that patient. If anybody needs changed or cleaned up I always offer my services with my co workers if they need help or any assistance with boosting patient or turning them which we call rounds every hour we can on our patient to see if they need anything. The hardest part of my job would have been staffing we were always short but I always got my stuff done, I always ran my butt off had up to 15 patients a night so it was very quick night. The most enjoyable part of my job was talking to the patients and getting to know them and also working with my co workers.
