Working at this facility was like babysitting with no discipline

This state facility was a nice building but the staff have absolutely no means of protecting themselves. On most days it was like babysitting a bunch of kids (but they were all adults). The state benefits are not as good as they used to be. If the patients became violent;then the staff were at risk because there were no means the staff were allowed to use to protect themselves. Management caused more conflicts amongst staff than staff had amongst themself. There were no raises given by the state facilities the whole time I was employed by them.
