October 20, 2014 Rehab UnitA typical day at work on the Rehab Floor is very demanding. On our floor we can be everything from the CNA, physical therapist, occupational therapist, and speech therapist. It's a good place to learn the broad spectrum of healthcare because our floor houses all these professions on one floor. We try to stay a team on our floor because so many people are working with each patient. The hardest part of the job is having up to 6 patients or more on one shift with one or no CNA help at all. Weekends are very taxing because no therapist are there and you become the therapist as well as the nurse. The most enjoyable part would be to see the progression of your patients getting better each day through rehab. |

September 11, 2014 Cardiac and Pulmonary RehabOverall a great learning experience and environment. Excellent teachers, supervisors and some of the best patients you can work with. I was taught and challenged to become a better student and also a better healthcare provider. |

August 08, 2014 Friendly and effective work environmentI thoroughly enjoyed working at Coliseum. A typical day would include taking care of 4-7 patients and all their needs including dressing changes, bathroom needs, surgeries, and imaging. Management over my particular floor was great! Very reasonable with conflict and easy to talk to. The hardest part of the job was the acuity of patient loads on some days. The most enjoyable part of the job were my co-workers and the rewarding feeling that comes along with taking care of people. |

November 08, 2012 Fast Paced/ Wonderful Co-WorkersThis facility is very fast paced, but the people you work with are all friendly and helpful. Management tends to swap hands often, so there is a lack of communication and stabilty where that is concerned. They are however, willing to work with and accomodate employees. |
