Loved the co workers, schedule

I loved my team at Mckee, we all worked together. What was lacking was overall management and higher powers lack of communication.

Nice place to work

McKee was a wonderful place to work. There was never a shortage of new things to do or learn. McKee and Banner Health were constantly adding to our education and training.A typical day at work was busy and challenging. There was never a time that I was not engaged on some level either working with staff or working on the creation of the RN Manager role. I really enjoyed creating the role with the original team of 5 RN Managers on the inpatient unit.My coworkers were very good at what they do. We had a great team spirit and we always held each other accountable. It was a culture in the hospital that was very pleasant. The hardest part of the job was learning to multi task in the high pressure environment of nursing. After a previous career in the grocery business, it took a little getting used to.The most enjoyable part of the job was the relationship I had with my patients. I cannot overstate how much I learned from the people in a very vulnerable situation that were in my charge. Everyone has a story and they taught me as much about life as I did about their care. It is a very rewarding thing to do .
