wish they hired managers with experience

I came in thinking I had landed the perfect job. My coworkers were great. We had a blast and patients loved us. Management had no idea what was going on. No clinical experience and trying to manage medical assistants. They did not know day to day procedure. After leaving , I heard they promoted billing people to manage the clinic. Glad I left. They had no direction. Let's hope they get bought out and changes are made. They are long over due. They let good people walk and were ignorant. Feel sorry for the staff. But I do know some employees finally got smart and left on their own.They recently lost two providers at the clinic once again due to lack of experience. No professional management.human resources was no help if you went to them.

Nothing noteable.

This is a great hospital and does great things for it's community. In a nut shell, it is a normal hospital with no noteable challenges of celebrations.

Patient care truly is the focus

This community hospital values each of their employees as long as they are focused on the patient as the center of care. They do have high standards but also give employees the support and guidance they need to accomplish that task.The educational opportunities and the nursing governance process are fantastic. Sure, now & then you may find a manager who isn't the greatest, but you can find that about anywhere. As a whole, they are wonderful. You really couldn't find a better team of people to work with. It's like a second family.

I worked there and found out I wanted to be a nurse.

While I understand the hospital has changed dramatically since I have worked there this was a very nice place to first figure out my career and then continue with pursuing that career. At that time there was little administrative help in directing me correctly along the path I needed to take. I was curious why the hospital did not take a bigger interest in helping employees who were interested in pursuing a nursing career but rather chose to hire from outside the facility.
