unacceptable

I witnessed horrible conditions for the patients and the nursing staff. Pt with mental status changes left on a stretcher for 3 hours in ambulance bay. Pt was having an acute stroke. Nurses now forced to have 6 patients in ER. Not possible to give adequate care, and dangerous for patient and nurse. The LA times needs to get involved and get the truth out to the public. Pandemic or not. Nurses are humanly unable to handle the stress and amount of patient responsibility they are given. This has to stop. Administration needs to pay attention and make the appropriate changes to help staff in ER
