NOT THE WORST PLACE TO WORK, BUT DEFINITELY NOT THE BEST.

THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF TURMOIL DUE TO SHORT STAFF. UPPER MANAGEMENT DOESN'T APPEAR TO RESPECT IT'S NURSING STAFF. THE CHIEF CLINICAL NURSING OFFICER DOESN'T TAKE THE TIME TO EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE ITS NURSES EVEN WHEN STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO THEM. NURSING STAFF ITSELF IS WONDERFUL, THE PHYSICIANS REALLY CARE AND FOR THE MOST PART ARE EASY TO WORK WITH. THE PAY IS LOWER THAN THE PORTLAND METRO AREA. THE HEALTH INSURANCE IS OK; YOU MUST SEE TUALITY OR OHSU DOCTORS. 401K IS RARELY MATCHED BECAUSE IT IS BASED ON THE PROFITS FOR THE HOSPITAL.
