Bad Management

I worked there for a year and fired for no reason. I was there when they were building the new tower but I was not able to work in the new tower because management sucked at that time.

Productive and Well Established workplace

A typical day at work means giving the best care possible to patients and making sure they have what they need to get better. The hardest part of my job would be watching a patient get worse or die. On the other hand, enjoyable parts would be things like watching them progress, or watching them being able to go home.

great learning experience

I enjoyed interning at Self Regional Healthcare. The staff was more than happy to help with my learning. I was able to get more knowledge about healthcare by being able to shadow multiple managers and staff.

Teacher

A receptionist, Dana, at "Ready for Surgery " asked me if could pay the $2000 plus dollars that my insurance wouldn't pay of a $96,000 surgery. I said, "No." She told me that I had to pay something on it or my surgery would be rescheduled. I gave her my debit card and told her to take $100. Dana, the receptionist, then asked me for my pin number because the card reader wouldn't reach outside the window. I refused to give it to her and told her to use it as a credit card instead. She then replied, "There is no option for a credit card." After refusing to give her my pin number, she decided to let me inside to key in my number. This makes me wonder how can my credit/debit card be optional at other places but not at Self. I am also wondering how many other patients gave her their pin numbers. This is scary!
