small hospital

RWRH is a small hospital where taking of patients that I know personally is real gratifying. The surgeons I work with are GREAT.Most of the time I would be either scrubbing or circulating OR cases, but also would work in pre-op, recovery room and GI labI really love my job as a scrub nurse and being confident in my role as Operating Room Nursehardest part of my job is feeling like you are not appreciated for your dedication

Productive and busy

Wonderful experience, wonderful management and nurses. Very busy all day long. Learning processes takes place everyday.

So-So

The management team has been working together and living in the same small community for 20+ years which was good in some ways, but when one of them began harassing the LPN's in an effort to get rid of them to obtain magnet status, there was no one to turn to and ultimately they systematically terminated 21 LPN's over the course of a year for minor infractions and fabricated charges. So, I decided to leave before they could make me. However, there was always opportunity for OT and there was little to no interference with personal life and the manager was very understanding in regards to family emergencies and so on.
