A great place to work

Working at Delnor was a great learning experience.I learned a lot from both co-workers and management personnel. The hardest part of the job was staying strong in front of patient's loved ones during difficult times. The most enjoyable part of the job was knowing that, thanks to Delnor, I had the training I needed to provide excellent care to my patients.

Magnet nursing hospital. Staff skilled, friendly, work together as a team and are my second family.

A typical day at work is a work load of 5-6 patients. The patients are mixed between orthopedic, oncology and neurologic, making the job interesting and challenging. Working on this medical/surgical for 12 years I have learned compassion, what it means to be a good nurse. Management encourages us to grow and learn to better take care of our patients. Everyone works as a team to reach these goals. The staff is friendly, very cooperative, skilled and is like having a second family. The hardest part of our job would be volume of patients admitted or coming from surgery. The staff works very hard to make the patients comfortable and happy. The most enjoyable part of the job is the patients and the interactions we have together.
