for profit company minimizes staffing, to the detriment of patient safety

Failure to manage compensation and staff according to clinical acuityhave cost Lutheran many valuable, experienced staff.Management is kept in check by corporate, which requires weeks to approve resources for immediate needs.Needs to operate more independently of corporate, and implement staffing standards that support standards of patient care and safety.

So sorry I brought my wife here. Doctors where go but the nursing staff is less than desirable. If I had to do it agian I would definitely go to Parkview

Terrible hospital

Take your loved one somewhere else. Nurses are rude, would rather be on their cell phones than assisting patients, and try to create drama for patients and their families. Nurses never know what is going on and communication is inconsistent. Doctors are so overwhelmed they can’t communicate with families. Patients sit for extremely long periods of time with their needs being ignored and neglected.
