Enjoyable place to work, looked forward to each day!

Extremely well-run facility, CEO who was very visible and friendly, a very positive environment. Excellent staff in all areas encountered.

employment

The Hospital is a nice small facility and the community is lucky to have such an institution, but the management is lacking the forward thinking and there questionable hiring and terminating practices will hinder there ability to reach their full potential. I enjoyed the opportunity to help the patients and the work day was busy but rewarding. The co workers were in general helpful and patient, but a few were judgemental verdally abusive and created a hostile enviroment. The staff would work together more effciently, therefore providing optimal patient care, if the unit managers had a broader work experience and appropriate education in management .However, the physicians diverse medical experience provided a multi level plan of care, which complimented one another. I welcome their wealth of knowledge and willingness to share. I appreciated the experience and will use my new found knowledge to enhance my practice of nursing.
