Poor support/orientation system, not set up for new RN graduates.

Only pros were the co-workers on my shift and the patients. Very clicky atmosphere, disingenuous manager, terrible HR/termination policy akin to being black listed. Supervisors who have not advanced past junior high school communication skills, lack of concern for your physical and mental well-being (most RN's on this unit do not get to take their legal breaks, and this is the unspoken norm); redundant, antiquated, time-consuming charting that takes you away from the patient's bedside.
