it was productive and bust office

It was an office with many work experience. I wrote accident reports for patients. i did drug screening and phlebotomy. I assisted the surgeon in minor surgery's in the office. I also did clerical work

Overall this is where I started the healthcare field. I wouldn't change any of it, but I really hope that they have become more geared toward resident care more so money.

An oncology/hematology site that is filled with activity throughout and beyond the regular working hours the working

It is a feeling of satisfaction to be able to serve people who are in need of care. I interned at this site for three months, and has decided to volunteer my service for sixteen hours every week to gain more experience while I seek employment. I assisted the staff to copy and fax documents, pull and file charts, verify insurance eligibility, confirm patients, triage patients, do phlebotomy, and prepare exam rooms.The staff treats me as a member of the team and this is how I would like to feel in any work setting. Patient interaction is what i enjoy most because it make my tasks easier. The most difficult part of my task is when the vien roll before I get even a half tube of blood and have to stick another vein.Overall I enjoy my internship and is looking forward to serve in someplace where I can continue to improve my skills.

Small community hospital. Operating Room environment didn't compete well with cross-town competition

Was not able to continue employment because hospital O.R. was not able to provide consistent work. Spent more time at home than at work on most weeks. Hope they have grown with their new relationships.

Learn how to take care of elderly

This is a very big facility. I learned how to properly take care of the elderly in this facility. Everyone was so nice.The hardest part of th job was moving to different floors.
