One of top 100 small hospitals in the nation

Typical small hospital in an small population of economically depressed citizens. The census is 25 total beds--4 ICU, 4 OB and 17 all encompassing patient care from pediatrics to geriatrics. They are trying to advance into the computerized generation but have a few bugs to work out. The census fluctuates continuously and it is hard to get the full time hours. The management try to adjust hours fairly but not many are happy about missing hours. There is a nearby college that graduates LVN'S / RN'S and has a relationship with the hospital to hire when able. In my 8+ years we often had more staff and not enough work. The people in management are nice overall. This facility was predominantly manned by 7th day adventist doctors and nurses when I started and had values more in line with my own but now they must move on toward acceptance and tolerance. As a non profit hospital they provide care to any and all who need and are one of the top 100 hospitals in the nation.I enjoyed the staff nurses and made many new friends.
