Large fast pace Laboratory

Short staff at critical hours. PT employees needed to cover those times without having too much staff.Better distribution of work - other areas always covering for another that needed better scheduling of their staff.Very well supplied with latest instrumentation and materials.

Productive, fsat paced and challenging

~A typical day at work is from 7pm to 7am and it is usually busy up until about 1am and then it slows down; picks back up around 5am.~I learned about blood cultures and how to administer them and it was a good experience working with a team of people.~I didnt agree with management and what measures you had to go through just to speak with someone if you have a problem and I feel like managemnet did not do a good job handling different situations between empoyees~Co-workers were okay for the most part. . .everyone sort of found who they work best with and formed their own teams in order to get the work done and make the night go smoothly~The hardest part of the job was preparing the deceased for the morgue. It didnt happen often but that is something I will never get used to doing~The most enjoyable part of the job is the patients. The families of the patients not so much but I enjoy the patients the most; talking with them and knowing that you were of big assistance is the best part of this job

Hospital setting helping patients and my coworkers

Faxing insurance companies their daily census of inpatients and discharges. Obtaining authorization numbers and decreasing the number of inpatient denials. The mangement was great and I enjoyed working with her. I worked with 30 case managers and help them out with sending clinicals to the insurance companies. The hardest part of my job was making sure that all of the clinicals was sent out in a timely manner. I enjoyed working with their because I like a challenge.
