Great place to work

Awesome co-workers, very helpful and considerate. Different cases every day, interesting patients, something new every day, never boring and always alert when around patients. Management always work with schedules very well. The most enjoyable part of the day is when interacting with patient and the hardest is when there are 2 or more discharges and not enough computer for everybody to do paper works but always manageable co-workers are always wiling to help.

Great place for work and secured environment

The hospital is steadily making impact as community hospital serving the immediate neighborhood and beyond with state of the art staffing and instrumentation. Financial support remains a sticking point in quick recovery from previous setbacks including chapter 7 bankruptcy crises. There is still a long journey ahead to recover completely, but it is getting there with the help of the people who work there and believe in the dream of a better future for that hospital.

A small community hospital that offers many hands on experience.

It's a 12hr shift, dealing with patients that have tracheostomy and gastrostomy tubes and some are ventilator dependent. I administer medications. I do wound care, care plans and I'm MDS 3.0 certified.

Working environment challenging and rewarding in exchange

All staff in the department know they are indespensible. All help each other get the collective work done so everyone look great.Daily routine involves checking QC, maintenance logs in Critical reporting, QC frequency in all segments of laboratory. Check pending lists by 8:00 AM to ensure physicians get their morning reports for their patients in file before their rounds. Check for send outs (regular and pathology) for copies of reports delivered in patients files. Personally cover bench work in case of staff shortage. Seemless workflow is the key. Complementing staff for job well done.
