Patients are noticing short staffing

While the staff works well together to get the job done, it's extra hard when shifts are chronically short staffed, patients are noticing this, upper management is well aware of this problem and still does nothing to help. Staff is getting burned out. Many staff members are currently looking for positions elsewhere.

Sharon Regional Health System allowed me to grow over 18 years of service, until recent Job cuts initiated by new CEO.

I can not say enough how proud I was to work with such caring, dedicated, hard working employees at SRHS Cancer Care Center. I loved that being the Financial Coordinator there. I had the privilege of working on problem accounts and explaining to patients about their billing inquiries. I also provided patients with answers to EOB questions and/or direction to aide them with financial troubles such as Charity care or financial assistance through foundations or copay assistance programs. The fact that several patients stopped at my office door to speak to me was the best feeling because they knew I was there to help them. I pride myself in the amount of money that was recovered by my review of denials and ability to appeal claims.
