Good place to work only downfall is being put on call all the time due to low censes

I personally enjoy working at Dukes Memorial. The staff is very friendly and tons of teamwork!

I typical day at work would start with drama from coworkers and continue that way the entire day. I learned how not to trust people. Incompetent management. The hardest part of the job was getting along with the coworkers. Delivering babies was the most enjoyable part of the job

Small hospital with little opportunities for advancement as a nurse such as variety, change or challenges with patients or technology

Workload varies from day to day, anywhere from 3- 6 patients. Some days you have to do CNA work, along with secretary work, while attending to bedside patient care. This can be hard part of the day, when load is heavy. Being able to send patients home after only 1-2 days with improved health is satisfying part of the job.

Emergency Room

This emergency room has not one professionalism they proceed to think that know something but when they laugh at a woman who was having mini strokes is really ignorant on there part and then you call to make a complaint and you get sent to a make believe voice mail and nobody ever returns your phone calls if you like to die then bye all means go to Dukes.
