loved my job

Staff RN caring for ill and/or injured patients. As a nurse I have done a lot of teaching and training in patient care to families as well as patients. The key is to perform teaching in a way they are able to understand and facilitate the teaching with follow up.

Working experience

Working at Perry County Memorial Hospital was very rewarding that I was able to see many new perspectives. People that I was able to affiliate with were able to reflect a positive influence. I was responsible for keeping the policies & procedures maintained to reflect the most current information needed to keep a hospital running adequately well. My contact with the volunteers was very rewarding and was able to use my experiences to assist with the needs that the auxiliary ladies required. Attending meetings and taking minutes was very educational to again learn different sides of each areas.

Business that is more interested in the bottom dollar than the patients

I enjoyed working the nights and weekend option hours. I crossed trained to work in secretarial position.
